I Covet You Linus stared at his hands. His eyes trailed along the red lines that stretched across the vast lands of his palms. It was a system of roads that traveled to the new scars on his hands from the sudden twists and turns in his life. There still a tiny splinter caught in the spot between his pinkie and a deep line in which he feared would never come out. On his left hand, a puffy white stripe extended from his pointer finger down to heel of his palm. He had long since stopped wincing at the memory it recalled. With a sense of pride, something he did not often feel, he allowed himself a smile and set aside the thoughts of the summer’s events.I Covet You by ~LessienMoonstar
